Game Recap: Handing out treats in 43-20 win


The Dallas Cowboys handed out plenty of treats to their fans on Halloween, dominating the Los Angeles Rams 43-20. All three phases of the game contributed to the victory, as the Cowboys extended their home winning streak to 11 games, the longest in the NFL.
     

 Dak Prescott is back Dak Prescott returned to the starting lineup for the Cowboys after missing five games with a thumb injury. He showed no signs of rust, completing 80.6 percent of his passes for 304 yards and four touchdowns. It was his eighth career game with at least four scoring tosses and his first since the 2021 season. 
   

 Cowboys offense clicks The Cowboys offense was firing on all cylinders against the Rams. Prescott spread the ball around, targeting 10 different receivers. CeeDee Lamb led the way with six catches for 111 yards and two touchdowns.
       
      Ezekiel Elliott also had a big game, rushing for 101 yards on 21 carries. Defense gets the job done The Cowboys defense also had a solid performance against the Rams. They held Matthew Stafford to 202 passing yards and two touchdowns, and they also forced two turnovers.
   

 Micah Parsons was once again a force on the defensive line, recording two sacks and four tackles for loss. Key moments The Cowboys took a 7-0 lead on their first drive of the game, capped off by a Prescott touchdown pass to Lamb.
     

 The Rams answered with a touchdown of their own, but the Cowboys quickly responded with a field goal to go up 10-7. The Cowboys extended their lead to 17-7 in the second quarter on a Prescott touchdown pass to Michael Gallup. 
         
       

The Rams closed the gap to 17-14 before halftime on a Stafford touchdown pass to Cooper Kupp. The Cowboys came out strong in the second half, scoring 16 unanswered points to take a commanding 33-14 lead. The Rams scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter, but the Cowboys added another
     

 touchdown of their own to seal the victory. Conclusion The Cowboys were impressive in their win over the Rams. Prescott looked sharp in his return from injury, and the offense was clicking on all cylinders. The defense also had a solid performance, holding the Rams to 20 points. The Cowboys are now 7-2 on the season and in first place in the NFC East. Analysis The Cowboys' win over the Rams was a statement game. 
     
     
They showed that they are one of the best teams in the NFL, and they are a contender to win the Super Bowl. Prescott's return to form was a big boost for the offense, and the defense is playing at a high level.
